COLUMBUS–To assist residents in the greater Cincinnati
area, the Ohio Insurance Institute (OII) is providing the
following updated list of insurance company toll-free claims
phone numbers and additional company information to assist
with filing tornado-related claims. Policyholders who are
unsure as to how to begin the claims process, should first
contact their insurance agent or company representative.
Tornado-related losses are covered under homeowners insurance
"windstorm" peril. Renters insurance also provides
coverage for your possessions due to this peril. Auto insurance
protection is provided under "other than collision"
coverage, which is also known as "comprehensive"
coverage.

Erie Insurance Group: Contact your
insurance agent directly or call the Columbus area office
toll-free at 800-282-1702. An emergency response team
is in the Cincinnati area. |

Nationwide Insurance Group: The
company is operating a 24-hour toll-free claims hotline
at 800-421-3535. A catastrophe team is in the Cincinnati
area to assist with claims. |

CNA Insurance Group: The toll-free

claim number. The company’s catastrophe response
number is 800-340-3016. Before calling the catastrophe
response number, please have your claims number to expedite

Cincinnati Financial: Contact your
insurance agent directly if possible or call the Cincinnati

Allstate Insurance: Claims can be

has set up a mobile response unit at Sycamore High School

are set up in the area, including one located at the State
