The National Association of Insurance
Commissioners (NAIC) sponsored a national survey of 1,021 adults
regarding the types of insurance coverage they carried, including
life, home, auto, health, personal liability and disability.
83% agreed that an annual insurance policy review was a good
idea, and 76% said they reevaluate their coverage annually.
But only 28% of respondents claimed to understand the details
of their insurance coverage very well.
