Source: Ohio Department of Public Safety, 1999 and 2000 Ohio Traffic Crash Facts

At the request of the Reader’s Digest, statisticians with the National Safety Council attempted to list some common ways that good drivers, who were not at fault in a crash, were killed. Head-on crashes killed 42% of the good drivers in the survey. Red-light running was responsible for killing 11% of the good drivers.
