Insurers are continuing their outsourcing trend, according to a study conducted by Ward Financial. The top five business processes that were outsourced in 1998 were:

  • P/C glass claims handling
  • Employee benefits administration
  • P/C claims litigation defense
  • Cafeteria support
  • Y2K systems remediation
