Insurers are continuing their outsourcing trend, according
to a study conducted by Ward Financial. The top five business processes
that were outsourced in 1998 were:
- P/C glass claims handling
- Employee benefits administration
- P/C claims litigation defense
- Cafeteria support
- Y2K systems remediation
