6,077 impaired driving (OVI) crashes occurred on Ohio roads during the 2005-07 holiday periods spanning from the day before Thanksgiving to January 2. During that period, from 2005 – 2007, the top five Ohio counties with the highest number of holiday season OVI
crashes were Cuyahoga (534), Franklin (523), Hamilton (394), Summit (316) and Montgomery (265).
